And then rung in the New Year with awesome food and awesome friends; the two ingredients to a happy-cake fit for a fat king. This barbecue was the brainchild of Jacqkie, Kent and I, we invited close friends and made new friends. The countdown was possibly the most boring and lamest countdown ever, as I think being the kind of people we are, another year's just another year, so we just counted along to some deejay on the radio. I guess we were, y'know, trying to play it cool and all, that's how we roll. And being the kind of people we are, we didn't expect to see fireworks because Jacqkie's suburb is pretty covered up. Thank you Hilton PJ for the surprise. Then, we played Taboo. Time-limit-induced panic and flurry of sexual innuendo commence!
And I'm glad I wasn't the only nerd present at the barbie. Brian, after being equally ambiguously M.I.A. showed up, I missed this guy. And his T-shirt and him asking if I've seen the trailers for the new Arkham games and DC Universe Online reminded me just why.
Speaking of DC and the New Year.
CAN YOUNG JUSTICE PREMIER ALREADY PLEEEEAAAAASSSSEEEEE??? A teaser episode is not enough to ail this want need!! Oh dear lord Superboy.
